300 Salvaged Panels, 15 Affordable Homes in Clark County

Three hundred high-quality solar panels removed from a Tualatin business were headed for surplus resale or a landfill. Instead, they're about to power 15 affordable homes in Clark County — at no cost to the families living in them.

Solar for All, Inc. secured 70% of the funding needed to complete the project following a grant award from the Washington State Department of Commerce. See the full list of grant awardees.

At NE 20th Circle in Vancouver, eight participating homes have already received systems. The remaining seven homes, split between Proud Ground and Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, will follow throughout 2026. When all fifteen grant-supported Clark County systems are complete, Solar for All will have served 69 households across Oregon and Washington since its founding in 2012.
